Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, 57, recently reflected on the challenges she faced with breastfeeding after giving birth. In her TIME Women of the Year interview, published on February 20, Kidman revealed that she struggled to nurse her eldest biological daughter, Sunday, after welcoming her in 2008.
Nicole and her husband, country music star Keith Urban, married in 2006 and expanded their family once again in 2010 with the birth of their second daughter, Faith. In addition to her two younger daughters, Nicole is also mother to Bella and Connor, whom she adopted with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
Despite the difficulties she faced, Nicole has always embraced motherhood wholeheartedly. “I love mothering, I love kids,” she shared in the interview. “They’re quirky, funny, and unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way.”
A Family in the Spotlight
After spending much of their childhood out of the public eye, Sunday and Faith made their red carpet debut alongside their parents in April 2024 at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala, where Nicole was honored with the prestigious title. During her acceptance speech, she affectionately referred to Keith and their daughters as the “loves of my life.”
Since their public debut, the two teens have been making more appearances alongside their famous parents. Sunday, now 16, showcased her evolving fashion sense at a Balenciaga fashion show in June 2024 and later attended Omega’s Her Time event in Paris. In October 2024, she even made her runway debut during Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week.
Faith, on the other hand, accompanied Nicole to The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment Gala in December 2024. She stunned in a white tweed jacket and skirt with black accents, complemented by sheer black tights and Mary Jane heels, while Nicole exuded elegance in a long-sleeved black midi dress paired with a collared light blue shirt.
Connor and Bella’s Private Lives
While Sunday and Faith are becoming more visible in public, Nicole’s eldest children, Bella and Connor, have remained largely private. However, in recent months, they have given rare glimpses into their lives.
Connor, who turned 30 last month, reposted several birthday tributes from friends via Instagram Stories. One of his friends shared a boat photo with the caption, “Happy bday my dawg! Live it up @theconnorcruise.” Connor reshared the post, responding with “My guy!”
Bella, an artist, also gave fans a rare peek into her world in December 2024, sharing an Instagram Story of her artwork displayed at the Imagine Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. Proud of her achievement, she captioned the post, “This lil guy made it to @imaginemuseum.”
